A Class D instruction permit allows an applicant age 17 or older to practice for one year with a licensed adult age 18 or older.
The road scenery is an arcade setting, not a recreation of actual streets or a driving-skills assessment. Stop and learn at each checkpoint, then review your state’s handbook for current rules. There is no pass guarantee.
