Before your appointment.
Pennsylvania applicants must pass vision, knowledge, and road tests for a non-commercial license.
A driver under 18 must complete at least 65 supervised hours, including 10 at night and five in bad weather, before the road test.
The supervising driver sits in front and is generally at least 21, with specified family or spouse exceptions.
