STATE CHECKLIST

Before your appointment.

Service Oklahoma describes the standard written exam as 20 questions covering laws, road rules, signs, and safe driving.

A learner permit allows driving 5 a.m.–10 p.m. with a licensed driver at least 21 in the passenger seat.

For an under-18 intermediate license, Oklahoma requires 50 practice hours, including 10 at night.

Permit eligibility, documents, fees, and appointment details can change. Confirm those details with Service Oklahoma before you go.
