STATE CHECKLIST

Before your appointment.

Nevada instruction permits are valid for one year; a teen must be at least 15½ to apply.

A Class C permit requires a licensed supervisor age 21 or older with at least one year of driving experience beside the learner.

Nevada teens generally need 50 supervised hours, including 10 at night, before licensing.
