Before your appointment.
A graduated instruction permit may be issued at 15 years 6 months, requires a licensed driver age 21 or older beside the teen, and is valid for 12 months.
Arizona’s permit test is 30 multiple-choice questions and the state requires at least 80 percent; that means 24 correct answers.
Class G applicants generally need 30 hours of supervised practice including 10 at night, or the reduced hours allowed after an approved driver-education option.
